4 days into the new year and i have yet to start jogging or reading a classic novel, or really work on any resolution. i went to a bookstore to see if i can get a hold of "catch-22" but i forgot how much books can get. then i went to the library but oddly enough they didn't have a copy, so i borrowed "ulysses" instead...which is a terrible mistake because i simply have no idea what is going on. after reading about 20 pages and being confused on each one, my sister kindly reminded me that the book was mostly about random ramblings of a crazy person. that's good to know, now i have an excuse to pick a different book. any suggestions?
to kick things off into the new year, and since i am such a prominent advocate of facebook activities, i made a new group titled "texas mafia" which is a spinoff facebook roleplaying game of "mafia". i should have called it "the texas mafia game" because it has come to my attention that when people see an invite to "texas mafia" they might just think to themselves "wtf did eric invite me to this time? texas mafia? man i aint part of that s***. DECLINE!" and then not realize that it was a game i invited them to play. so if you do get an invite please join!
anyways it has been rather warm in florida (as usual) but i was hoping for some cooler weather since it is the winter season. but at least i can go to the beach, which i haven't done that yet, but i most certainly will in the near future. or else... *shakes fist at no one in particular*. today i got to eat at one of my favorite restaurants today "sushi takara". it was awesome. all you can eat sushi at a very good price, instead of the limited amount high price rollas they have at austin.
on a completely unrelated and random ending note, i just wanted everyone to know that they need to chill out, relax, get some fresh air, and enjoy what they have. and now i go look for a book. i think "freakonomics" (though not a classic) will be an interesting choice.

sup eric?
Haven't seen your blog for a while. I'll try keeping in check with it more often =)
Anyways, it's good to hear that you are doing something during the break, attempting to read a book =P and going to the beach. And yeah, studying economics sounds like a good idea, haha.
Hopefully your break ends well. Make use of the short amount of time before school starts! See you back at UT!
ulysses is one of the most complex and difficult books ever written. it's the type of book you typically do your senior thesis/dissertation on!
